What Now, God? - 1-3-18
Sharing
the love of Christ and the hope he offers doesn't require us to go to
a far distant village and eat spiders and minister to a people who
don't know what clothes are. Although God can and does call people to
those specific situations, he also has called all of us right where
we are.
For
the team in Houston, this week has cleared a path straight to our
hearts, and I believe God wants to use this blog and the stories we
bring back to clear that path for you as well.
We
hope and pray that after we get home and the energy of the trip has
worn off, that we won't forget what we saw God do, that we won't
forget the conviction we felt while here. That we won't forget that
God spoke to each of us and called us to press in and reach out even
more.
York
Alliance, family and friends, we need to live with this missionary
mindset. We need to keep looking for God moments. We need to keep
putting people first.
Your
prayers, support and friendship made you a part of this trip and
team. God is working in Houston. And He's working in York and
wherever you call home. Be on the lookout for God moments every day.
Seek sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's promptings. Don't be afraid.
God's got you. Keep pressing in.
